Girls on Top is a unique fundraising, mountaineering project designed to promote leadership and teamwork amongst women of all ages.

6 non-mountaineering women have been selected to climb one of the worlds most challenging mountain ranges - the high-altitude Huayhash region in Peru.

The 200km (120mi) trek at 5000m (16,000ft) above sea level is a self-funded expedition, through the Andes and onto the Amazon, to work with local indigenous communities.

Our aim is to inspire others to challenge seemingly impossible dreams.  We CAN do it!  The funds we raise go directly to non-profit volunteer run charities in the Amazon.

Amazon Promise is a medical outreach program bringing essential healthcare to native communities - we hope to provide a building for the volunteers to work in.

The Amazon Animal Rescue Centre provides vital care and habitat to mostly endangered species, injured or orphaned through poaching and deforestation.

As part of my fundraising efforts I am hosting an evening of entertainment on Thursday 17th July at 6pm in the heart of San Francisco, at El Rio, 3158 Mission St.  To view the flyer  click here.
