Background
Lis Viggers has won awards, honest. She is a multifaceted, charismatic Melbourne-based artist. Her diverse original works are spread across a varying spectrum of media – from visual arts, music, film and even street performance. But not mime. Never mime. The unique, unifying and ultra-important factor about her various works of art is that they all embody her keen ability to connect to your emotions. Her output is guaranteed to make you think and feel deeply.
A woman of many talents, Lis can play multiple instruments, has competed in Yoga championships and even once won a prize out of 400 Yoga teachers. She has trained dogs up to a high level of obedience and once even played the cymbals in a marching band. She prefers to cycle rather than drive, loves attending music conferences (please invite her to one) and was once interviewed and filmed for a feature length film on music education.
A skilled and creative artist, Lis aims, and succeeds, to make people feel and think via her collection of works.
